Kansas Chamber and Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce host trip to meet Kansas delegation and business leaders.
Business leaders from across Kansas and various sectors recently traveled to Washington, DC to meet with the state’s congressional delegation and national organizations to discuss issues and policies important to Kansas businesses.
The meetings were part of the 2022 Congressional Fly In hosted by Kansas Chamber and Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce.
U.S. Representatives Tracey Mann and Sharice Davids as well as Senators Jerry Moran and Roger Marshall provided congressional briefings and answered attendee questions, according to Kansas Chamber President & CEO Alan Cobb.
“We had a jam-packed three days featuring business advocacy updates, breakout conversations, and congressional briefings,” Cobb said. “This year’s issue sessions focused on international trade, finance, and federal barriers to growth.”
